Preferred name and grade: My name is Anahi Arroyo. I am a freshman.

What is your business: I make sweets for my business.

How did you get your business started: I started my business during COVID baking is something I really enjoyed so I thought I could create it into a small business of mine.

Future plans: I hope to expand my business in the future. The name of my business is Nini’s Sweets!

Preferred name and grade: My name is Jaedyn Wendt, I am a junior.

What is your business: For my business I create designs out of rainbow loom rubber bands. I crochet them together to make a 3D item.

How did you get your business started: Several years ago I made bracelets out of these rubber bands, and as time went on I used YouTube to figure out I could make bigger things. I started making dream catchers and tiny foods, then discovered the concept “loomigurumi” which is what I do. I started making things for my family members, and they thought I was very talented and good at it, so I made a lot more and started selling them at farmers markets to create my business Jaedyn’s Loom Creations.

Future plans: I want to expand my business a little bit, so I started a Facebook page to gain more people’s attention. I also want to teach younger kids how to do it. I enjoy how excited they get when they buy something from me, and I want them to be able to create something of their own.

Additional info: My Facebook page is “Jaedyn’s Loom Creations”. I do custom orders and try my best to make whatever an individual may want.

Preferred name and grade: My name is Juliza Victoriano. I’m a junior.

What is your business: I have a chocolate covered strawberry and flower arrangement business.

How did you get your business started: I started my business in June of 2020 during quarantine. My little business started because I used to buy from a girl who had just started her business as well, but I felt like it was way too much for a dozen strawberries… I decided to make my own and ever since then I have sold some and people enjoyed them and slowly I started getting better and getting more creative. I started doing flower arrangements as well!

Future plans: If you’re asking in the future, like years from now, I want to take my small business far– I want to have a small shop where I have pre-made treats and arrangements for people to go in and enjoy my work without having to wait. My small business isn’t a hobby anymore–it’s kind of like my job, and they always say ‘do something you love’, and that’s what I’m doing. I really hope I can make my dreams come true!
