A few weeks ago, humanity was graced with a ball game of never-before-seen proportions. The Lincoln Academy’s underclassman team, the Lions, stepped onto the court and played “basketball” cohesively and with their best effort.

They put soles to the ground and moved around, they interacted with members of the opposing team with both bodily movements and words, and wore jerseys like there was no tomorrow. The Lions picked up the basketball, and they did it well. Don’t even get me started with balance!

Not once did a Lion topple over. Touchdowns were abundant! The three batters on the court swung with all their might, with a few bats breaking, which brought tears to the audience’s eyes.

Truly edge-of-the-seat action!
