It’s hard to find a nice place in Beloit to sit down and have a decently priced meal where you haven’t eaten at least one hundred times. There are not many restaurants in Beloit that give you much of a variety of food other than the normal burger, pasta, or pizza places.

The Liberty House Grill is located on the corner of Liberty Ave. and Townline Rd. They are open from four to nine on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and four to ten on Fridays and Saturdays. The restaurant is small, yet has a decent amount of seating for both those with reservations and walk-ins. It is very elegant and modern, something that many would find appealing. It is a bit of a formal restaurant where you may want to look dressed up and have a reservation unless you want to wait.

They offer regular staple items such as pasta, burgers, steak, and appetizers—they have what any other restaurant in Beloit has, but better. Their prices range between ten dollars to fifteen dollars for appetizers, thirteen to twenty-five for meals, and about forty-four dollars for steaks. Their prices might seem steep for some, but are perfect when taking into consideration the portions and quality of the meal.

The service exceeded our expectations, the waitress came to our table multiple times to check up on us and got our drinks right away. As for our food, the appetizer was as great as our entrees. For an appetizer, we had cheese curds that were cut into precise squares and had grated Parmesan and parsley for a signature look. The pasta came in large quantities with a side of garlic bread. The garlic bread didn’t have as much flavor as I was expecting, but the dish was phenomenal. It was very flavorful and filling and was a dish I would go back for.

If you’re ever looking for a new location to celebrate a special occasion, The Liberty House Grill would definitely be a place to try out!
