What or who inspired you to start playing basketball?

I've always liked playing sports, but one day my mom asked me to play basketball, and ever since I fell in love with it. My AAU travel team also pushed me to love the sport even more than I already did.

Is competitive basketball something you are going to pursue a career in after high school?

I want to go to college to play basketball and hopefully professionally. I have to start with college basketball, though, because that's where your career begins.

Which basketball player has impacted your style/skills?Why?

Allen Iverson. He was a smaller player in a sport that usually is full of tall players. It was fun to see him play against the tall players. He played in an untraditional and flashy way. This made me look up to him. Kobe Bryant also impacted me, and yes, he was tall, but really smart. He showed me it's okay to be smart and cool at the same time—you don't have to fit in one specific area.

How do you feel knowing that this is your last high school season?

It's a downer for sure just because nothing is promised at the next level. I just want to play longer. I don't know how to feel, it's weird.

Do you have a hidden talent? If so, what is it?

I am a good actor. I do my own skits when I make people laugh. I also had Mr. Wallendal for English, and we did a bunch of acting there.

What is your all time favorite tv show and why?

Naruto because I grew up watching it. It's kinda childish now, but it was interesting to see new characters.

What is something you could eat and never get tired of?

Fried chicken, if it's not because it's good, it's because it's good.

Do you think you could survive a zombie apocalypse?

Of course. I am fairly fast and I have good survival skills. I'll practice my kung fu in the meantime to get ready.
